Applied Engineering Services (Indianapolis, IN) is seeking a full-time individual to serve as an executive assistant to the firm’s Principals.  Duties will include a variety of routine office tasks including preparation of letters and other correspondence. However, a large part of the duties will involve supporting the Principals and Business Development Manager with marketing tasks. These include RFQ & RFP responses, organizing presentations, placing advertising, development of marketing materials, website updates and trade show assistance. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. A college degree in Journalism or Marketing and experience in graphic design a plus. Previous experience is required (experience in the a/e/c industry also a plus). Marketing/Proposal Specialist - Looking for strong writer/editor for our growing engineering and environmental firm’s Indianapolis office to help respond to proposals, maintain resumes and project descriptions, coordinate events, and support the general marketing and sales effort. Will also work with corporate office in Evansville on developing content for newsletters, websites, and related materials.  Requires ability to interview technical staff and capture information accurately in a way that both technical and non-technical people can understand.  Attention to detail, ability to cross-reference information from one document to another, and a great attitude under pressure are MUSTS! 

Requirements: Bachelors degree in journalism, public relations, writing, or related discipline. Industry experience a plus, but not required. Must be proficient in MS Word. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign a plus.
