David Peterson, an avid golfer and classical music enthusiast, joined the A/E/C industry 12 years ago, and has been actively involved in SMPS for the past four. David was inspired by both current and past board members and to seek out position on the board himself, where he now serves as President. He finds it to be a valuable opportunity to learn from others, and would like to see SMPS members become more involved in the community.

He feels we need to take care to not be so goal-oriented that we forget to appreciate the journey that we take to reach those goals.

Fact: Dave was born in the backseat of a VW bug at 96th and Meridian streets.
